Whether a digital sketch, watercolour on paper, or acrylic on canvas, the question that underlies all of my work is, “Who am I?”. I would describe my work as self-indulgent, and concerned with ideas of self and how I believe we may have existed across time. My work is largely expressionist, relying on the medium and my feelings to construct and deconstruct my identity as it exists in the moment.
