About The Creative

I am a multi-disciplinary freelance designer and multimedia lecturer. I have been involved in design education since 2012 as a lecturer, international guest speaker, and active researcher. I have been practising design in a freelance capacity since 2010. I have worked with clients such as SA Fashion Week and MTV Base on branding and identity. I have primarily focused on digital product design, serving a range of clients from hospitality to finance. Although I have worked on few, illustration projects bring me much joy.

Some of my most rewarding work has been visualising conceptual frameworks across disciplines, including higher education strategies, business coaching, and psychiatric nursing. By combining design thinking, creativity and technology, I solve problems, innovate, and create experiences that make the complex clear and beautiful. My aesthetic is influenced by a South African focus on craft and detail, but I am passionate about simpler and more honest solutions.

Creative output/s I am interested in producing:
Imagery for publications
Use scientific material to make something compelling/expand messaging
Work with traditional knowledge and practice for stories
Design for events
Design for documents toward research outputs or policy
Open ended exploration/collaboration
Branches of science I'm interested in:
Astronomy
Artificial Intelligence
Psychology
Sociology
Data Science Information Technology
Entomology
Nursing
Anthropology
Social Psychology
Political Science
