Native and modernist.
Despite coming from a non-artistic background, I was always interested in creating art. Through printmaking, I found that I could communicate my take on everyday life. My work is inspired by my surroundings, as well as music and hip-hop culture. Much of what I create could be considered a departure from mainstream art. I tend to be playful and create simple pieces that are accessible to the average viewer without necessitating deep thought. What I hope to achieve with my work moving forward is to address social shifts and educate my peers on freedom of speech, which is ultimately freedom of thought. Art to me is being playful and socially responsible. Socially, my mission is to remind people to have fun with art.
