About The Creative

I create realistic and semi-stylised digital illustrations for journals, textbooks, and other educational publications and projects. I have been working as a freelance illustrator specialising in educational material since 2008, and have contributed to over 300 books published in South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, Malawi, and Uganda. My clients include Macmillan, Pearson, Oxford University Press, Penguin, and Tafelberg. I draw freehand in Adobe Photoshop using a pen and stylus, which means my drawings can be extremely detailed while retaining a sense of loose lines and pencil-on-paper authenticity. Meanwhile, the modifying ability of digital drawing achieves the perfect illustration. My favourite subject matter includes objects, animals, and people.
