In 2019, Design Indaba chose Mondli “The Artivist” Kunene as one of 50 Emerging Creatives to look out for. In 2022, he was honoured with an award in the Theatre and Arts category at the Forty Under 40 Africa Awards hosted in Accra, Ghana. His work has been exhibited in Canada and India.
